Any idea if they are having any luck?
Pretty good apps for tracking ship traffic in the sound.
Having a 6 hour headsup for “swell” is realistic
But every ship is so different.
But draught and speed are listed on most of the vessel tracking sites

That I don't know. I assume, since it is Matt D that yes, they are having success. Might be worth a call or a stop in at urban and talk to the legend himself.

I also know that Rob Casey from Salmon Bay paddle does a ton of ship wake suping, so he would probably have great insight on the ship v wake considerations
