Headed to Cancun on Monday - Info?

Hi, Everyone,

I'm headed to Cancun on Monday for a week - staying between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. I'm not bringing my gear, other than my harness and helmet, and am hoping to be able get one or two days on the water while I'm there. One company's website listed that they only rent gear to 'certified' kiteboarders. I've contacted a couple of other companies but have yet to hear back. Anyway, if anyone has kited there, rented gear, etc. I'd love any recommendations you have - rental companies, best places to kite, places to avoid, etc. This will be my first time this part of Mexico.
