Thanks for that Jim!
If there is anyone out there that would like a hard copy, feel free to pm me if you are really in need of one, as it is 76 pages. I am making copies at the moment.
Or you may borrow a copy. I will bring them to the 1st race day, and will have copies with me.
Thanks!

I fished in AK 25 years in the most congested boat conditions possible. I still dont know any of the right of way rules. Somehow we just figured out who liked their boat better and that person yielded. Sometimes we did not figure it out in time and ended up with holes in our boats. I have been hung over the side of my boat more than once patching holes with Marine-Tex. I have posted this pic before but will do it again for reference eventhough it can not really relay the Kaos that is going on when the pic was shot.

76 PAGES??? Lets have a rule reduction party and burn those rules in a fire. Then lets start a new genre of racing called "Darwinian Kite Board Racing". Now that would be an Olympic sport EVERYONE would watch. I know it is not in the spirit of the Seattle way, but, think about it before knee jerking into rejecting my idea.

Great point PMCD.... I was thinking the same thing, except I wanted to save paper! So I condensed it to 19 pages. You might need a magnifying glass though!

Starboard has right of way over port tack.

The guy to leeward has right of way over the guy to windward if on the same tack.

If you're within 3 "boat lengths" of a buoy, you must give the guy on the inside room to round the mark.

That's pretty much the jist of what you need to know.
