I'm just saying comparing a downwinders in PS to jumping over the 520 bridge come on - I agree jumping the bridge would be very bad press - getting rescued in puget sound not in the same catagory -
If anybody knows about rescues it is me

yeah yall are hilarious!!! Keep it simple. KNOW YOUR LIMITS. how long do you want to swim today? currents? how long can you last in cold water? and on and on and on............ Come on this is the Great Northwest...... Has everyone lost their common sense?
And as far as experience..... haha nope not even close to 1000 posts. So thank yall for steering me in the right direction. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!
My first kite was a Naish AR5 9.5 new at the time.
Gator, your right......STUPID FUN!!!

Can some GOD like person move this to the New to Kiting/Safty section? I feel it would be best used there.
Did you do it or not?
Badass if you did. Hilarious stirring of the salt if you didn't.

Naw man never happen, but I would like to propose some rules if someone's thinking about it.
1. Mandatory banana breaks. You must drink water and eat a banana for every 2 hours of kiting. For unhooked legit riders you must stop every hour.
2. Every rider must have a WaveRunner with a babe in a red one piece driving. If your out of shape please consider a helocopter with Chuck Norris in it.
3. For every 10 miles kited you have to go though a medical clearance including a rectal temp or you go directly to jail.
