(FIXED) Bug: Google Voice sometimes appends junk

Ok got another one. I am on verizon an the text showed up as:

(Report) (206) 579-1XXX says: Testing to see if this works.-Daniel--Sent using SMS-to-email. Reply to this email to text the sender back and save on SM

My email was complete as such:

(206) 579-1XXX says: Testing to see if this works.-Daniel--Sent using SMS-to-email. Reply to this email to text the sender back and save on SMS fees.https://www.google.com/voice


It is weird that it doesn't sent me two SMS messages since it appended the text.

All these email-to-text vary from carrier to carrier. What a pain.

That "Sent using" message seems to sometimes show up, sometimes not. I guess I didn't fix it. =/ Put in another attempt to suppress it.

So Verizon has a separate MMS email address. If I send it to the SMS address, it gets chopped. If I send it to the MMS address, you'll only receive it if you have picture messaging (MMS) enabled.

I think I'll probably just send MMS only. Long messages for Verizon users should now be over MMS instead of SMS.

Same thing for AT&T guys. You were getting truncated SMS messages. I'm sending them as MMS messages now.

Ok, figured out why that "Sent from" message shows up sometimes, but not other times. It sends it the first time a new number texts 206-EZKITER. The 2nd, 3rd, etc time the message doesn't show up. We need someone other than Daniel, Theory, eric or myself to text the number.

I can verify that the "Another test from daniel" sent at 12:14 had the "Sent using" junk appended to it. Looks like I got it right this time. The text was stripped out of the message correctly.

I got one e-mail from someone with t-mobile, it had 5 attachments to it (tmobile graphics). Are those gone now?

What time did you receive it? What phone number did it come from?
