My tip on the Envy is to ride it in the light wind setting at all times. At least that's how I like it. Regarding the max flow, think of it as a huge dump valve, and inflate your kite through the normal inflate if you don't have the special adapter. If you do have the adapter, you'll be ready to go 40% faster. If the valve were to fail, you still have the same inflate valve that every other kite has to use. I like the max flow quite a bit.

My other thought is that the 2012 envy is the best Looking kite I have ever seen. Seriously, it is gorgeous.

I have this kite and thought I'd post my experience. I now live in Boca Raton, the wind here does not have the oomph that wind in the sound has so I use this kite more often than my 12m Envy. Mine are 2011.

Pro's
Kite is so well put together
Have never had problems with relaunch
Eats gusts but in really super light wind will hindenburg if not finessed on the beach. (Light wind is on/off here)
Great Low End - This kite with my LF WLF 140 means I'm usually the last one out when things drop.
Great glide on jumps
Decent upwind

Con's
Too grunty to really boost (does that make sense? It pulls hard and makes it difficult to hold edge to really boost. My highest jumps are on my old 2008 Rise kites (40' my wife says) I don't think I've broke 20 on this kite.
Bodydragging upwind takes a long time.

Here's a vide of the kite last year, you can see how grunty it is compared to my 12. (Dark one is the 12, Light one is the 15 Envy). Nothing fancy, I just got back to the water after a 6 month hiatus.

I love big jumps too, but haven't ever been able to go super huge on any 15m+ kite... or even a 14m..

I reserve the biggest jumps to be had in the smaller sizes...

The Envy is one of the best built kites on the market in my opinion, and the 2012's are the best looking kites I have ever seen.

I wonder if you have to be logged into facebook. It shows up for me. Your not missing much anyway :)

BTW I've had these kites for 2 years now and they still look new. I really love the look and construction on these kites. I'm starting to get into strapless downwinders and I couldn't ask for better kites.

You snagged my board and left me stranded with your dinged up budget barrel surfboard..lol! Good times. I miss the people in the NW!

Moving out here was like starting over. The stacked waves, strong currents, onshore wind, rotors caused by the condo's made it a challege to just get out. Now I have it down and need to put the TT's away and just focus on the strapless. I'm watching nic's videos and have a ways to go. I added the Dynabar 7 to the mix and I love it but that takes a while to get used to also.

Looks like the mrs's is looking at a cariology fellowship so that means another 3 1/2 years dodging elderly drivers and cannibals :toothy7:
