Hmmm... Been thinking of the Naish Pivot for just this purpose. Mildly annoying to need to "maintain" a kite while foiling.

Brilliant post! Genius by our BOD. Deceptively commercial but brilliant.

Looks like this was approved…..
Then….Just to be fair I would also encourage other sponsored riders or local kite shops to make a similar pitch.

It'll be so cool to try the following:
what North gear are you most interested in trying?
what Best gear are you most interested in trying?
what Slingshot gear are you most interested in trying?
what Naish gear are you most interested in trying?
what Crazyfly gear are you most interested in trying?
what Switch gear are you most interested in trying?

Relax Bobby, I'm not the brilliant deviant genius you're making me out to be. I really just wanted to know if I should change my order or not. I think I got the question answered. Drifters instead of switchblades.

I think this is a little funny coming from you since you've probably asked me about demo surfboards more than everyone else combined. I guess its just the principle of following the rules. I also guess the rules aren't simply for containing annoying hype but also for preventing any kind of discussion about gear from happening in the general subforum. I still think Paul made a good point that maybe we should combine the two subforums.

For the record, when I post its me posting. If the board collectively posts something it will come from the pskiteBOD user name.

Only the moderator (Loki) has the ability to move posts. Loki is not part of the board. If you have a problem with something I posted I suggest you take it up with Loki. Generally he responds pretty quickly so my guess is nobody has contacted him yet.

There was actually a suggestion to make me an additional moderator. If I was then I could move the post for you. Given my affiliations I guess its probably not a good idea for me to moderate.

If you want to move this or delete this post the fastest way is to pm loki. I don't think I did anything wrong but since you do I'd suggest contacting him as quickly as possible.

Lastly, as far as the board is concerned. Both Pat and Roberto did not like my post and suggested moving it. I told them the same thing. Talk to Loki if you want it moved.

Posts such as this one that create discussion should be here. CJ is offering up kites to demo at our local spots. I think he gets a pass on this. If any other individual or shop is going to go to one of our local beaches to set up a demo day they should post here too. They are coming to us. Doing us a favor letting us demo/trash their gear.

If a shop or individual is simply listing gear for sale and not making any effort to come to us and let us try the gear than commercial.

Just my 2 cents

Another brand that is local to our scene is Ocean Rodeo — demoing their kites too.
The Flite 17m works really well for Jetty on many of the lighter 'thermal-driven' days in the summer.
Looking forward to trying the new 10m & 12m Flites that were released for 2015 and the new generation Prodigy.

I emailed loki and he moved the post to the commercial section within minutes.

Apparently nobody else had emailed or pm'ed him about it.
