I emailed Daniel. Whidbey Telecon is on it.

Everyone should remember to thank Daniel for providing this cam to the community and fixing it when it breaks down.

Kiteboarders are part of the tour stop in south Whidbey Island.
Packing away my kiteboarding gear in the DB Park parking lot, two senior couples drove up in their car, and they were in search of kiteboarders to show one of the couples (evidently visiting the area) the fun to be had.
Luckily, even with the wind diminishing to barely kitable conditions, one lone kiter was out so they got to see a little action.
I had to explain that the wind was much better earlier in the day, and if they'd come a little earlier, they could have seen a small flock of kites flying around.
It's satisfying to know that many others also find pleasure in our sport, even if they only can participate on the sidelines and watch the show.

Got an hour in at Sunlight from 5 to 6 with a 16 and a surfboard.
Really steady wind.

I saw kites up down at Double Bluff.....were you riding or just flying?

I rode 40 minutes on my 13m and then rigged my 17m and rode just over a hour until 530. I was the last kite on the water. 4 kites coming in,9m stuff when I got there so I missed the good stuff but I still had a great time. 24 miles=4 PBR's although not my beer of choice. I'll just call it burning 4.
