I have been to Jetty Is volunteer days. Pulling out scotch broom is very difficult and time consuming and takes a big metal pulling tool. Its not a quick task, esp for a small group of volunteers. I unfortunately have obligations that day, otherwise would be there.

Wish I worked in Bothel rather than Snoqualmie, the conditions looked nice today. Anyone's thoughts on Saturday? I have been looking at wind models trying to decide whether or not to drive to Jetty with the Groms. What do our sage Jetty wind wizards think?

What a fun day at jetty today! Water was warm in the shallows and good steady winds for a few hours. Lots of boosting and tricks from the usual suspects and smiles all around. Saw Goiney out on foil first time, looked like he took to it quickly from what I could see!

I apologize to all those I cut in front of yesterday at jetty. I lost both contacts within the first 20min. Usually I only loose one but I was blind with both gone. Time for recspecs.

So I remember reading somewhere a while back that mentioned jetty being rideable when steamboat reads >10kts now is that just mowing the lawn or actual fun riding? I'm trying to tune my jetty check list. I have a busy summer so unless a couple conditions are met I don't make the drive.

That's was me that wrote that. It's a great indicator. On a sunny day, look at the gusts in red. If it starts to gust over 10mph, jetty will be blowing within the hour.

It's not very hard to predict Jetty this year, though, hah. It's nearly an every day thing. Forecast calls for afternoon winds every day this week. Take your pick!
