Wind stats near Seattle

Hey guys,
I am considering moving to the area (Redmond) for a job but a big factor in whether I do it is how much kiting I can do in the area. It seems there are a bunch spots that should work in different wind directions which is good. Looking on windguru though the stats don't look all that great but I figure it might be one of those weird spots that doesn't report accurately (i.e. Cabarete or Hood River). Can anyone fill me in on what the good seasons are for kiting in the area and in those seasons how many days would you say you can kite. Also what are the typical kite sizes? I would be moving from Rhode Island where the spring and the fall can be really great with two 8 meter kite days per week with a calm summer. Any info would be super helpful while I consider my options.
Cheers,
Josh

This forum is all but dead now. This FB group is where you should ask this question and more. https://www.facebook.com/groups/608389315944697/

There is almost year round kiting in the Puget sound region. If you foil it will really extend your summer kite session opportunities.

You will be glad you moved to the Pacific Northwest for kiting
