Adam,

Is "totally" illegal more illegal than just plain illegal

"Barging at the start line is totally illegal."

based on my experience and the way i was chewed out when i was barging unknowingly, it is not just illegal but "totally illegal" -- this means no ifs/ands or buts about it -- if you are in that position, don't try and cut into the line up on the start line... even worse if it's in the 'coffin corner' - you'll get pinned up against the start boat, especially the way that these new boards can pinch upwind.

It will be a lot easier now for one of these kooks on these Aguera boards to backup up the whole fleet on the start line just by pinching upwind higher than anyone else... which means if you don't see your alley through the pack... go low, get out and foot!

hey man, a desperate media pet will do just about anything to be published in a picture... and yes, i have been unmasked -- I am known as the infamous SF barger!! ahaaahaa

barging is a cardinal sin whose wages are way bad karma, and the deep shame and guilt of the ancient damned kiteboarder rolling in his sea crypt... even worse, you get kicked out of the race after being protested, tried, convicted, condemned and hung to dry by your fellow kiter and a marine court -- you might as well walk the plank -- John Gomes (SFYC race director) and I are good friends after my many blunders... the result is i am a reformed kiteboard racer now, having read the rules, and redeemed my sole by confessing my sims....
