If it's just a cut, maybe seam grip with a patch could do it.
if anyone can fix it, these guys can.

anyhow, give them a call and see what they think.

Ocean Rodeo drysuits are manufactured by their parent company, Whites Diving. I needed a new neck seal, the normal local sources couldn't help me with it. It turns out that Underwater Sports on Aurora is a big Whites dealer. They have the factory parts in stock and repair them right there, no shipping to another country either. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

No can do, my seal reincarnated itself into a goo ball. Sounds like that would be good for holes & leaks though.

Yes vinny - Aquaseal is for holes and re enforcement to seams and tears you should see all the Aquaseal on the OR dry suit -lol

--- Not for neck, arm, leg seals

The arm and leg seals are very easy to replace yourself with a can of vegetables and heat gun - the neck takes some patience and a round jig

Ocean Rodeo Seals can be ordered online and are fairly cheap - Urban Surf and Bellingham KB normally stock the OR seals

What am I missing here? Aquaseal is something I've used for wetsuit repairs as well. I am not cold in a 5/4 with booties and hood in the winter around here. I realize wetsuits require drying, but I have one of those drying hangers which does it within 24 hours. In today's world, why would a kiter buy a drysuit over a wetsuit?

 free ride - it's all a preference - but come January will see if your still out kiting all day in a wetsuit when the temp drops in the 40's - - but I think this thread is about dry suit repair ;)

Here are some directions pearsemen sent to me for the neck seal. I have found them to work well.

pearseman wrote:Subject: Replacing the neck gasket on a drysuit

Hey Paul,

I had to replace my neck seal last year. i too found the online instructions weak. I called OR and they were super helpful on the phone. What I remember I was told and it worked really well was this:

1. cut old seal about .5 to 1 inch from white tape on the inside of the suit. Then place the suit around a ball. I used a basketball
2. using a heat gun, heat up the white tape that is pre-existing on the suit not the new seal, you peel away the white paper to expose a sticky strip on the new seal, and roller tack the neck seal at 12 o'clock
3. tack at 6 o'clock
4. tack at 3 o'clock
5. tack at 9 o'clock

Then work each quadrant till its completely sealed. this was the most helpful tip I was given thus I didn't need the exact size ball to fit the whole neck seal at once.

I left the heat gun to long on one spot and the new seal got a little soft and gooey but I haven't had any issues with that spot yet. Keep the gun moving when heating up the seal.

It was pretty easy all said and done and its worked great so far if you have any concerns or questions I would call OR they were super helpful over the phone. Good luck
